The real name for the road is Avenida de las Playas which translated means Avenue of the beaches. If you go on to Google Maps and type in Puerto Del Carmen (obviously take the Spain option) you can select a satellite map - zoom in, there's a yellow/orange man above the 'zoom' - if you press and hold your cursor over 'the man' you can pick him up and drop him on Avenida de las Playas. You'll then get a street view and be able to 'walk' round the strip/resort.

Georgina, down hill four minutes to almost centre of strip. Turn left, two minutes to casino, golden corner etc. Further ten minutes to spar, sorrento and end of strip. Turn right, one minute to centro, two to route 66 and 15 minutes to end of strip. Another 5 minutes on low road cut through to old town. Edited: 11 years ago.
